JAKARTA - The song 'Wining the My Country' was sung by a number of singers such as Endah Laras, Cakra Khan, and Rossa in a series of ceremonies celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta on Sunday.

The three of them sang songs harmoniously and nicely and were greeted with loud applause from the audience. The song tells the story of the youth's struggle in the Dutch tearing incident in Surabaya in 1945.

Previously, keroncong singer Endah Laras sang the national anthem "Tanah Airku" by Mrs. Sud with the accompaniment of keroncong music.

Cakra Khan and Isyana Sarasvati have performed and enlivened the commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day at the Merdeka Palace through the songs "Our House" and "My Country".

Pop singer Rossa in her distinctive voice also sang the song "Indonesia Pusaka" by Ismail Marzuki which was arranged by Anto Hoed in a series of ceremonies for the 80th Indonesian Independence Day.

Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2025 has the theme "United Sovereign, People of Prosperous, Advanced Indonesia". The theme reflects the spirit of nationality that continues to be maintained as the foundation for moving forward to the future.

There were several activities that were held to enliven the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on Sunday, namely the Red and White Flag Order and the text of the Proclamation, People's Party, and the United Karnival of Independence.
