JAKARTA - Barasuara's musical spirit and idealism haven't wavered after their song went viral on the soundtrack of a popular film. Instead, they want to leverage that influence to voice important ideas.

Iga Massardi and his bandmates are currently preparing mini-concerts at several venues. The concept is simple and not as loud as usual.

So, what's so special about them? Their message and mission. Through their showcase titled "Barasuara Alon-Alon Alit," they emphasize that musical performances should reach more people.

"Music belongs to everyone, and musical performances should be accessible and affordable for everyone," the message is clearly written in the opening paragraph of Barasuara's Instagram post on July 30th.

Based on this spirit, Barasuara wants to perform and enjoy the show with the audience. There are no entrance fees or specific requirements; they can pay whatever they feel like.

"Alon-Alon Alit is our way of saying thank you to the Penulang Badai (Storm Riders). This small show uses a pay-as-you-wish concept. We'll provide QR codes at the venue to simplify the process. Pay as much as you like, or don't pay at all. The important thing is that you come," they continued.

Barasuara will perform in a simpler and more intimate format with a stripped-down format. Fans who want to enjoy the concert will simply have to arrive earlier than the others.

"We'll be playing a stripped-down version, to make it more intimate and less noisy. All venues are first-come, first-served, except for Westwew. Registration details will be announced later," they said.

Four venues will host Alon-Alon Alit: Kios Ojo Keos (August 6), Earhouse (August 15), Kedubes Bekasi (August 24), and Westwew (August 29).

At the end of the caption, they reiterated the core message they convey through this performance.

"Let's bring music back to its inclusive roots, meet us there, let's sing and have fun."
