Badai Meredang, His Name Is Not Recorded On The Credit Song I Still Love You From Rayen Pono

JAKARTA - Doadibadai Hollo alias Badai expressed his disappointment because the creator's credit for the song I Still Love You was never given in his name for years.

Meanwhile, the song I Still Love You was written by Badai from composition to lyrics and released as a single by Rayen Pono via Halo Entertainment Indonesia in 2016.

The problem started when Badai recently re-collected his work. The former Kerispatih keyboardist also found that the song I Still Love You on several digital platforms was not credited in his name as a songwriter.

"I found that it turned out that my song, titled 'I Still Love You', was sung by Rayen Pono and exploited by PT Halo Entertainment Indonesia on several digital platforms, did not include my name as the creator, but included Rayen Pono's name as the songwriter," said Hurricane to the media crew in Cipete, South Jakarta, Monday, July 28.

This time, Badai felt that the moral rights as songwriters had been injured. He said the Copyright Law had regulated that his name should be listed as a songwriter.

"I as a songwriter have moral rights, as stipulated in the Copyright Act, namely the right to always include the creator's name in every creation," he added. And anyone is prohibited from eliminating my name in every of my creations.

In addition, the storm, which was released under the auspices of Nagaswara, felt that it had never received economic rights from his song.

"Actually, all this time when I talked about the economic benefits of the song, I should have also experienced royalties, I also felt the economic benefits. But to this day, the report that he said was reported to Nagaswara... I have never experienced significant royalties," said the 47-year-old musician.

Therefore, Badai has reprimanded and sent summons to Halo Entertainment Indonesia twice, but did not receive the desired response.

"The first subpoena was carried out on June 19, 2025, but PT. Halo Entertainment Indonesia did not respond," said the musician who labeled himself as Theria Man.

The second subpoena was received on July 4, 2025 and only received a response on July 7, 2025. That was also responded after I contacted my friend, former manager Mike Mohede first, his name was Mas Indra," he continued. A few days later I was contacted by a person from Halo Entertainment Indonesia, namely Pak Bombom, via WhatsApp, and it turned out that their response said that they would check, whether there was a mistake or not, and they had made a mistake on the action.

Feeling dissatisfied with the response from the Indonesian Halo Entertainment, Badai again sent an open subpoena.
