JAKARTA - Tame Impala, music moniker Kevin Parker today released a new work entitled "End of Summer". This is his first release for the new label Columbia Records.

The launch of this song marks the new chapter of Tame Impala, which is trying to expand the limits of this project to an area that has never been explored before. Taking inspiration from the rich and deep history of dance music, the End Of Summer describes Tame Impala as a kind of future primitive wave performer.

Through its composition, Tame Impala brought listeners to feel the vibe of the summer acid house in the '89s, free parties in the mid 90s, to Doof bush in the interior. A history that is imagined, is transformed into something that is also present and is eternal, but remains undeniable as Tame Impala.

The spontaneous studio experiment approach that has been the hallmark of Tame Impala's record since the beginning is now clearer than ever. Parker sharpened his creative side and exploration in stringing the sound.

Kevin Parker created a sound landscape that goes beyond the genre limit by playing every instrument and playing the role of the author, producer, mixer, and engineer in his projects. He has been nominated for four GRAMMY awards with one win over his collaboration with Justice in the song Neve render in 2024.

Tame Impala has also been the headliner at festivals and arenas around the world and released four full albums - InnerSpeaker, Lonerism, Currents, and her latest album The Slow Rush. The album ranks #1 in some areas and has become the highest-ranked album to date in the US and UK, with 14 positions in the top 10 chart around the world.
