Entering The Age Of 75,TEN Wonder Doesn't Want To Retire Music

JAKARTA -vied Wonder is already 75 years old, but he is still active on the music stage. This year alone, the man whose real name is Stevland Hardaway Morris underwent a concert tour in the US and UK.

With stage activities that are quite congested at the age of now, Wonder stated that he will continue to perform and work until the end of his life.

Wonder explained, as long as his physical condition still supports his music activities, he still wants to continue working.

"As long as you breathe, as long as your heart beats, there's still a lot you can do,"moto Wonder said in a recent interview with the BBC.

Not without reason, Wonder, who has been making music since anal-anak, feels that continuing to work is a gift.

"I love playing music, it's like my mantra. I think I can do all the things I want to do 'stay having fun and do what I need to do' but I won't stop the gift that continues to flow in my body," Wonder said.

"I like to do what I do," he added. "An artist doesn't stop drawing 'you keep doing'. As long as you can still imagine, as long as you're going to continue to be creative, and as long as you let your mind work, you don't have to retire."

Music is indeed an inseparable part ofmoto Wonder's life journey. He released his first single at the age of 11, and then reached the top of his first Hot 100 chart with "Fingertips" at the age of 13.

Currently, it has been almost 20 years since Wonder released his last studio album, A Time to Love, although a number of singles have been released including "Can We Fix Our Nation's Broken Heart" which was released in 2024.

Since 2008, Wonder has also spoken about a new project titled "through the Eyes of Wonder", which is described as a showwork that will reflect his experience as a blind person.
