JAKARTA - The punk-rock band from Bali, Superman Is Dead (SID) has been running for three decades and has never changed personnel. They remain loyal to the formation of Bobby (main vocals, guitar), Eka (bass, vocals), and Jerinx (drums).

Even though Jerinx had been in prison, Superman Is Dead did not even budge. Bobby and Eka still entrusted the drum position to the real Kuta man.

Related to this, Jerinx feels that SID has more value because its personnel are native to Bali and still live there. The story will be different if they choose to settle in big cities like Jakarta.

"And that's lucky for us, not living in an industrial city like Jakarta, which is very materialistic maybe, quotes. We stay in Bali, our instincts are not too dominant," Jerinx told the media crew in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 16.

Meanwhile, SID in celebrating 30 years of music will hold a special concert titled 'Three Decades Distortion', which will be held at the Ex Hangar Teras Pancoran, South Jakarta on 17 August.

The choice of a date that coincides with the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia is not without reason. SID chose to celebrate his own independence in his work, voiced, voiced the social struggles that they have shared through music.
