The Panturas Starts Global Travel Via Tour Asia 2025

JAKARTA - The contemporary surf-rock band from Jatinangor, The Panturas, is exploring its luck on the global stage. The unit consisting of Surya Fikri (drums), Bagus Patria (bass), Abyan Zaki (guitar, vocals), Dan Rizal Taufik (guitar) is on a tour around Asia.

Last weekend, on July 12 and 13, The Panturas had completed performances in Singapore and Malaysia. Furthermore, they will visit Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan.

Performance in Japan is certainly the most anticipated, the band, known as the song Sunshine, will perform specially at Fuji Rock Festival, one of the most prestigious rock music festivals in the world.

For the personnel, the 2025 Asian Tour is the opening of a wider dream space. They openly said that this tour was only the beginning of bigger ambitions.

Abyan Zaki alias Acin called Taiwan and the Philippines the countries that made him the most curious, because of the dynamic independent music scene there.

"We want to meet fellow musicians there, study and reveal the possibility of collaboration," said Acin in his statement, Monday, July 14.

- July 20 - Taiwan

- July 24 Red Marquee Stage, Fuji Rock Festival (Pre-Festival Show)

- July 25 Crystal Palace Tent, Fuji Rock Festival

- July 26 Field of Heaven Stage, Fuji Rock Festival

Prior to the tour, The Panturas also introduced a new work in the form of a maxi-single containing two songs, a Knights of Majenam and a Soma Gospel.

This release is also proof that The Panturas is not just a nostalgic band or a fan of waves from the past. They are a creative group that continues to grow, dares to experiment, but still maintains the common thread of identity.
