Forestra 2025 Promises A Thorough Experience To Enjoy The Beauty Of Music And Nature

BANDUNG - Orkhid Forest Cikole, a natural tourism park in Lembang, West Bandung, is preparing for the Forestra 2025 orchestral concert in the middle of the forest which will hold its fourth edition on August 30.

Given by ABM, Forestra 2025 will feature Reza Artamevia, Sal Priadi, Voice of Baceprot (VoB), The Sigit, Bernadya, Raja Kirik, and Ensemble Tikoro who will collaborate with the orchestra led by Erwin Gutawa. In addition, there is a steady appearance from Iksan Skutter, The Panturas, to Oom Leo Berkaraoke.

The names above may be familiar to music concert lovers, but their appearance in the open is something that is a big difference, even difficult to find elsewhere.

"Maybe friends can see VoB in many places, but the only thing they see is they play in the forest, only in Forestra," said Barry Akbar, CEO of ABM and founder of Forestra, during a press conference at Orhid Forest Cikole, West Bandung on Wednesday, July 2.

Erwin Gutawa, who also acts as the Music Director, said that those who will appear have gone through a fairly strict manner. The reason is, playing with an orchestra requires discipline in itself.

In addition, Erwin said that appearances at Forestra have always been a special moment, not only for those who come to watch, but also for musicians who appear on stage.

"I've played an orchestra several times outdoors, but in this rich forest in Forestra it's something really interesting," said Erwin. If you play here, the players are also happy because they feel something different. I think the audience will also feel that.

Meanwhile, Jay Subyakto as Creative Director wants to ensure that this event will be different from the previous three editions. He said, Forestra always explores what nature presents to deliver better performances.

"Everything we present here we explore ourselves, not those who cheat on other concerts outside," Jay said.

As a performance that combines the beauty of music and nature, the entire team working for Forestra also ensures that forest conditions are maintained.

"Here we are guarding, there are no trees that we are cutting, everything is designed according to the existing tree layout," said Barry.

In addition, Forestra is back in collaboration with Greenpeace Indonesia. Part of the results of ticket sales will be aimed at providing assistance to people affected by the climate crisis.

In addition to music performances on the main stage, Forestra 2025 also presents various new activations, ranging from the music discussion session with the Partypora Director Program, Kiki Ucup, to a performance titled Bio-plant Sonic' from Bottlesmoker.

Special this year, Forestra 2025 provides early access to the performance area through the Awal Hari ticket category until the return of Forestra 2025 cooperation in the environmental movement with Greenpeace Indonesia.
