Beyoncé Praises Paul McCartney For Writing One Of The Best Songs Ever

JAKARTA - Beyoncé expressed his praise for Beatles bassist Paul McCartney after holding six shows from the Cowboy Carter tour series at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England.

Through uploads on Instagram, the 41-year-old singer thanked McKartney, who she considered to have written the best song ever, Blackbird.

"Thank you, Sir Paul McCartney, for writing one of the best songs ever made," Beyoncé wrote in a description of the post, Tuesday, June 17.

Blackbird is one of Beyonc\'e's re-songs on the 'Cowboy Carter' album, and performed in six shows in England.

While performing the legendary song The Beatles, Beyoncé performed a track accompanying the band's original master recording.

"Every time I sing it, I feel very honored," he said.

Jay-Z's wife also thanked the legend's daughter, Stella, who co-designed her clothes.

"And this is the perfect moment to wear your beautiful daughter's design," Beyoncé said.

Thank you, London, for creating unforgettable memories for me and my family. See you when I come to tour again," he added.

For information, the Blackbird which was released via White Album in 1968 was originally written in response to the US civil rights movement, and the title also refers to English slang

Paul himself once praised Beyoncé for bringing back the Blackbird' on the studio album that was released last year.

"I'm very happy with Beyonc\'e's version of my song 'Blackbird'. I think he performed an amazing version and it strengthened the civil rights message that inspired me to write that song from the start," Paul said. "I think Beyonc\'e has made an amazing version and will urge anyone who hasn't heard of it to check on him. You'll love it."
