Scooter Braun Regrets Justin Bieber To Taylor Swift

JAKARTA - Businessman Scooter Braun pleaded guilty to his past actions. He felt he could not provide proper treatment to the young artists he handled at that time.

Scooter expressed this regret when he was a guest star on the podcast The Diary Of A CEO hosted by Steve Bartlett. When he was young he regretted being ignorant of his mental health.

"Recently I feel very guilty. I regret that I used to work with many artists and didn't have time to take care of myself, or go to therapy until I was older," he said, quoting NME, June 11.

"So I didn't understand when I was 25, 27, 30, that they each came from a very unique background, with their own family and childhood, and grew in this way, and were seen by the rest of the world."

Pop stars were managed by Scooter Braun, including Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. He realizes mental health is an important thing, and in the past he felt less attention about this to artists. Therefore, he ensures that his work environment is now more sensitive to mental health.

Asked about his relationship with Taylor Swift after he had 'explored' his catalog, Scooter explained that initially the condition of their relationship was going well professionally.

"When I bought Big Machine, I thought I would work with all the artists at Big Machine. [Taylor] and I've only met three or four times. One time, a few years earlier, was really a great meeting. He invited me to his party. We respect each other," he explained.

But he then handled Kanye West, and as is well known, Taylor-Kanye's relationship was not so good. From his statement, he implied the situation was deteriorating and communication did not go smoothly. In the end he sold the catalog to Shamrock as a way out.

Now Taylor Swift is back in charge of the six albums she produced in the Big Machine Records era. Taylor's victory was celebrated, while Scooter failed to restore his reputation in front of music lovers.
