Studio Ghibli Music Concert Will Be Present In Jakarta On June 8

The Music of Studio Ghibli Original Singers Symphony (doc. Ist) concert

JAKARTA - A music concert with the title The Music of Studio Ghibli Original Singers Symphony will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center on June 8.

This show is part of the Night Concerts of the Asian Anime Festival which is back in Jakarta for three days for the 2025 edition, on June 6-8.

The Music of Studio Ghibli Original Singers Symphony will feature original singers in films produced by Studio Ghibli, namely Yoshikazu Mera (singer), Sumi Shimamoto (singer, voice actor), Azumi Inoue (singer), and Yuyu (singer). They will be accompanied directly by Tokyo Asia Orchestra.

In addition, the Asian Anime Festival will also present another music concert titled I Love Anisong which will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center on June 7.

The show will feature several artists from Sakura Country, such as Daoko, DEMONDICE, Eir Aoi, KAF, Liyuu, TeddyLoid, and towana from fh laha.

Night Concerts is just one of three main entertainment areas to be present at the Asian Anime Festival. The other two areas are Akiba Town, an exhibition space featuring a leading Japanese company as well as a newcomer creator; as well as Day Stage, where fans can watch their favorite artists in live talk shows and special screenings.

Tickets are sold separately from other entertainment areas. Tickets for The Music of Studio Ghibli Original Singers Symphony have been sold out, but tickets are still available for the I Love Anisong concert and 2-day pass concert packages.
