Rare Recording Yes When Cover Song The Beatles Revealed In Interne

JAKARTA - A rare recording of Yes covering the song The Beatles, 'Eleanor Rigby', was revealed to the public by YouTuber Ian Hartley through his YouTube channel, on March 25 last week.

Hartley describes the footage under the title Yes - Footage Studio Langka - balik Rigby 1969 - Take 1 yang Gagal.

The YouTuber who is also a vinyl collector and classical rock music recording claims that the rare recording has never been made public before.

This special record has never been released to the public before. The following is the first (failed) recording of ER footage recorded in raw form at the time, "Ett wrote in the description of the upload.

"In addition to some speed corrections, no remastering is carried out on the master's recording," he continued.

It was stated that the 'Eleanor Rigby' cover from Yes was recorded at Polydor Studios in February 1969.

In the 1 minute 55 second recording, Yes raises the tempo of the song whose original version appeared on the seventh album Beatles, 'Revolver' (1966). With a strong rhythm and intense overall feel, the cover features intro psychedelics performed by Peter Banks (guitar) and Tony Kaye (keyboards).

Hartley also implies that another rare recording may be heard to the public, depending on the listener's reaction to the Yes footage.

"Depending on the reaction to this, things like that might follow," he said.

Judging from the comments column, some fans looked enthusiastic when they learned that Yes's rare recording was revealed.

"Thank you for sharing this. I've heard a rough live bootleg recording of early Yes shows that I really liked. So, hearing this is a real treat," wrote one fan.
