The Song Imagine Dragons Reverberates On The Moon Even Though The Mission Is Not Completely Successful

JAKARTA - Imagine Dragons finally succeeded in realizing their dream to sing their songs on the moon. Unfortunately, there are a few obstacles that make the mission not go perfectly.

Last year the Las Vegas band registered their song titled Children of the Sky with technology company Lonestar. The song, which is the soundtrack of Starfield, one of the popular games on the Steam platform, was brought by the spacecraft of The Athena.

The plan is that the song will be broadcasted from the moon and radiated to earth. But unfortunately the plane did not land on the specified target, so the connection with the antenna prepared on the moon could not occur.

As if the mission was successful, the song Imagine Dragons would be the first song to be broadcast live from the moon. But for now that record has not been recorded.

The Athens was launched on February 26 from the Kennedy Space Center to the moon. On March 6, the plane landed on the moon and played the song Imagine Dragons from there.

Previously in 2024, songs from several musicians had already played on the surface of the moon, ranging from Elvis Presley, Timbaland to Jimi Hendrix.
