JAKARTA - The Japanese women's rock quartet, Scandal launched an extended play (EP) or the latest mini album with the title Love, Spark, Joy! on Wednesday, March 5 yesterday, digitally.
Love, Spark, Joy! is the third EP of the band that debuted in 2008, in addition to the eleven studio albums and other releases they have released.
Through the release of this EP Haruna (main vocals, guitar), Mami (main guitar, vocals), Tomomi (bass, background vocals), and Rina (former vocals, background vocals) were also presented with a music video for the latest song entitled "soundly".
Meanwhile, Love, Spark, Joy! contains four songs, of which three have been introduced in sequence each month, including the cover of the song Oh, Pretty Woman.
"The long-awaited EP with the theme goes back to the roots and updates," wrote SCANDAL, citing a description of Instagram's upload, Thursday, March 6.
Unlike digital releases, SCANDAL's latest EP will be present in the form of a compact disc (CD) which will be introduced internationally on April 4.
To commemorate the release of EP Love, Spark, Joy!, SCANDAL will host a special YouTube Live program on Sunday, March 9, at 11.00 GMT. This event marks the return of their highly anticipated popular YouTube Live series.
