Andien's Story Creates Inspired Song Of The Land Of Heaven In Golo Mori

JAKARTA - Andien Aisyah got a memorable experience when he set foot in Golo Mori, West Manggarai, NTT. His feelings of happiness and admiration for the beauty of nature have inspired him in writing songs.

The lyrics flow quickly in Andien's mind while breathing air, stroking the landscape, and walking without footwear on the land of Golo Mori. He as a person who loves Eastern Indonesia with various charms feels very touched.

"I did collaborate with Nikita Dompas, create a song for Golo Mori. It happened last year actually, so I hope we can bring it this year," said Andien when met at the International Golo Mori Jazz 2025 press conference in Menteng, Central Jakarta, March 5.

"Golo Mori is so beautiful I feel like walking there is like setting foot in heaven. Indeed, I have to go to Golo Mori first to be able to write what it tastes like." he added.

According to Andien, the creative process with Nikita Dompas also feels fluid. There is a touch of regional instrument ornaments that adds to the uniqueness of the song that will be performed at IGMJ 2025 on April 12.

"It's really a moment, it really flows really. It's like all the process is two hours. One hour to write a song, one hour to make a demo," he explained.

"Nikita Dompas also added Flores musical instrument ornaments. This may be my first time making a song with regional musical instrument ornaments," said Andien.

At IGMJ 2025 later, Andien will be accompanied by Tohpati with the concept of orchestral music. In addition, there are also special appearances from Maliq & D'Essentials, Sheila Majid and Tate Kind feat Gema Nusa Project.
