Missing Back To Music, Audy Item Launches A New Single Titled The End Of Our Story

JAKARTA - The longing to return to music made Audy Item decide to make a comeback in early 2025 by introducing his latest single entitled 'The End of Our Story'.

This song was written by Dea Bamba and Yay Item, which was released through the pop-rock band from Jakarta, Goodtimes, via EP Hello ! in 2020.

Audy said the comeback plan had been in mind for a long time. Because he wanted to produce something of quality, he prefers to do it more carefully, rather than having to rush.

"The intention has been long, but we are waiting, because I don't want to be fast but the process is just like that," said Audy during a press conference for the release of a new single in Senayan, South Jakarta, Friday, February 28.

"For a comeback, in my opinion, I don't want a normal one. I thought about packaging, starting from the nusik video, until I worked on the song too. I don't want to just sing it right away, I chose the song," he continued.

As for the intention of a comeback to the music world, it was motivated by Audy's longing to feel the atmosphere of work again. He wants to provide something new for Indonesian music lovers.

"I really miss the atmosphere of working in the studio, meeting musicians, and of course conveying something through songs for fans," he said.

Through the collaboration between Allodya Music and Uwais Entertainment, the single Akhir Kisah Kita which incidentally was also written by his own younger brother was chosen by Audy because of the match of the song with his character as a singer.

I chose this song because it fits the character of my voice very well. This song is a rearrangement for Ray Prasetya, with an additional touch of guitar from Yay Item, so it gives a new color that is more personal," said Audy.

Meanwhile, Audy's latest single tells the story of the bitter separation that is not accompanied by an explanation. This song depicts the feeling of a person being left behind by his partner. Even though it's hard, he has to accept the reality gracefully and try to move on from the dreams that have been destroyed.

Selain sudah dapat dinikmati di berbagai platform streaming digital, Akhir Kisah Kita juga hadir dalam video musik dengan konsep film pendek yang disudarai oleh Yudha Mancha Prakarsa.

With this comeback, Audy also expressed his desire to continue to be consistent. He is optimistic about continuing to make music, which has become an inseparable part of his life journey

"God willing, as long as I am still given the opportunity, I will continue to work in the music world. I want to show that music is part of my life," he concluded.
