Make Jakarta The End Destination Of Asian Tour, Ayase From YOSOBI: It's Really An Honor

JAKARTA - YOSOBI has completed one of two performances in Jakarta successfully. The J-pop duo consisting of Ikura (vocals) and Ayase (keyboards, synthesizers), appeared full of energy in front of fans who met Istora Senayan, Gelora Bung Karno, Central Jakarta on Wednesday, February 26 evening.

They opened their appearances with Seveteen, Shukufuku and UNDEAD. Then it continued with New me, Yuusha, Kauitsu, Mou Sukoshi Dake, Tabun, to IDOL.

Towards the end of the show, YOSOBI brought HEART BEAT and Gunj sambuh, followed by Butai ni Tatte and Yoru ni Kakeru as encore.

Before ending the show, Ayase thanked the fans. He called Jakarta the right choice as the ultimate goal of this Asian tour.

"I really don't think there is a more suitable place for this closing tour. Thank you Jakarta! Thank you Jakarta!" said Ayase.

The composer also quoted Ikura as saying earlier, calling Indonesia a special country for YOSOBI trips. Not only as a cover for tours, but they underwent their first concert outside of Japan while visiting Jakarta at the end of 2022.

"Ikura has said it before, but it started in Indonesia, Jakarta was our first overseas trip. And returning to Jakarta like this, at the end of this tour, was an honor for us," he said.

"And be able to reunite with everyone waiting for us here at the moment, for the closing tour, I am very happy. Thank you," he continued.

Before visiting Jakarta, the YOSOBI Asia Tour 2024-2025 was held in Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei, Shanghai, and Singapore.

Meanwhile, the concert, which was promoted by SOZO and The Sound Project & Co, will still be held once again tonight, Thursday, February 27.
