JAKARTA - Andrean introduced the latest single entitled 'Ono Sing Duwe'. Not alone, the song that carries the Koplo genre is performed with the concept of a duet with Syahiba Saufa.
Carrying the Koplo genre is the way Andrean explores himself. The singer, who was previously better known for his pop music character, felt that he had to try other types of music that were right for him.
"Honestly, I'm looking for my true identity, whether it's in pop or playing or ambyar music (couplo). If in the future it's accepted in the ambyar, I have to focus on it," said Andrean during a press conference at Cinere, Depok recently.
In a previous release, when performing the song Goodminton entitled Love Monkey', which was arranged to be koplo, Andrean said that his music path was starting to look brighter.
Every time I sing Koplo songs on stage, the audience response is always extraordinary. Even when appearing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, their enthusiasm for Koplo songs was huge. This is what makes me more confident in increasing the number of Koplo genre songs," he said.
Meanwhile, 'Oni Sing Duwe' was written byILah vocalist Ary Irawan. Initially, the lyrics of this song were used in Indonesian, but in the end it was decided to be changed to Javanese, after it was decided to be performed by Andrean and Syahiba Saufa.

"I'm not originally Javanese, I made a song using Indonesian, it's titled 'Someone Has'. When I made a demonstration, I really wanted a koplo, then we thought it would be good if we made it into Javanese, finally it became 'Ono Sing Duwe'," said Ary.
Apart from the names above, music producer Bimo Maxim also played an active role in the release of this song. He is the person who chose Syahiba as Andrean's new duet friend.
"I monitored the production process from the start, including the search for duet friends. Why did we choose Syahiba? Because he is from East Java and he is the top 10 in Banyuwangi. We want Syahiba to accompany Andrean's journey in this koplo," said Bimo.
Meanwhile, Andrean's 'Ono Sing Duwe' and Syahiba Saufa can already be enjoyed in conjunction with the music video on the YouTube channel Andrean Official. The music video shooting process was carried out in several locations in Yogyakarta, with Bimo who also acted as a director.
With his new work, Andrean hopes that the song can be accepted, as well as himself as a singer.
"What is certain is that I want to continue my career and I ask to continue to be supported. The hope is that this song can be accepted, and I myself, Andrean, can be accepted in the Indonesian music scene," concluded Andrean.
