Novita Dewi Feels Not Enough To Take Care Of The Late Jack Marpaung

JAKARTA - Novita Dewi accompanied and witnessed her father, Jack Marpaung when he breathed his last at Carolus Salemba Hospital, Central Jakarta on Sunday, January 5 at 18.30 WIB.

Dewi admitted that there were still those who were stuck in her heart. She felt that she had not cared enough for her father, whose health condition continued to worsen due to a stroke two years ago.

"There are people who take care of their old parents, that's fine, but if we haven't, it's not enough for us," said Novita Dewi to the media crew at the funeral home in Bekasi, Monday, January 6.

Active as a singer, also busy with her small family, Dewi feels that she doesn't give her time and attention to her father.

"The pain of me is not giving up, but because I don't take care of my father much," he said.

In addition, Dewi as a child also feels that she has made many mistakes, which directly or indirectly make her father's condition worse.

"It's like a lot of my thoughts that might make him panic. When papa brought mom back here, I and my mamiku had arguments, so it made him dizzy," said Dewi.

Kemaren, beberapa bulan lalu (papi) bilang, 'Aku diambil saja kek God, aku sudah tidak kuat.' Terus mami nangi-nangis, ' Jangan pap, kenapa berbicara seperti.' Baru papi mengatakan, 'Ya, ya, nggak jadi.'," lanjutnya.

For information, Jack Marpaung is an active Batak pop singer and songwriter since the mid-1990s. He has produced dozens of works that are still familiar to the Batak people.
