Top Chart In Various Countries, Colors Album From Kyuhyun Successfully Brushes Listeners

JAKARTA - Kyuhyun's first solo album, "COLIS", received a positive response from listeners. The full album containing 10 tracks ranks No.1 on various world charts.

Conceptually, this work reflects the broad and dynamic feel of Kyuhyun's music. Super Junior's vocalist was also able to display adequate verification as a singer.

"COLORS" topped the iTunes charts in Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Singapore, and Taiwan Region, as well as listed in the list of the top 10 in 12 regions. The album is also at the top of the list on the real-time physical album charts on Hanteo, a site that tracks the sale of music recording albums, after its launch.

Kyuhyun's music spectrum is represented through various genres. From the pop dance song " Bring It On", the ballad song "Last Poem", as well as the dramatic song "Nights Without You" has its own charm.

At a press conference that was just held in Seoul, Kyuhyun, under the auspices of Antenna, chose "Unending Days" as the lead track because of the band's sound feel.

"I want to be a big singer on stage. So, I always appear with the band," Kyuhyun said in a press release received by VOI, December 10. "I sometimes get carried into the feel of the band's voice. So, I want to often perform songs like that in front of many people. If I choose a song as a lead track, I have the opportunity to perform the song in front of the audience, and both enjoy it."

In this music album, Kyuhyun also proves his skills as a singer and songwriter, including writing several songs himself, such as "Prologue" and "One Spring Day". All Kyuhyun's songs have their own colors, but both carry their melodious voices so that listeners have an interesting experience when listening to these songs.

"This year, I've been a solo singer for 10 years. This moment means a lot to me," Kyuhyun said. "So, I made a full-length album with lots of new songs to celebrate that moment. I want to make an album that sounds like a concert show, like displaying my music spectrum."

After great success on the world charts, Kyuhyun's latest tour is also much awaited. This tour is also titled "COLIS". Kyuhyun will start a series of Asian tours in Seoul this December after holding a tour earlier this year. Through this tour, Kyuhyun wants to present musical legacy and present songs on his latest album. "I'm currently compiling a setlist for the upcoming Asian tour, as well as preparing for my performance," said Kyuhyun.
