East Indies Explanation Regarding Speech Of His Victory At AMI Awards

JAKARTA - Baskara Putra alias Indies attracted the attention of many people after delivering their winning speech at the AMI Awards which was held at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 4 yesterday.

In his speech, the 30-year-old songwriter presented his victory for everyone who was deemed unable to sing well.

"This is for everyone who is said to just stop singing because his voice is bad, because he is said to be unable to sing," said the Indies.

"No one can't sing men. Look for your voice. Thank you," he added.

After the peak night, the East Indies explained the purpose of his speech to the media crew. He said the statement was not intended to insinuate certain parties.

"No, I'm not insinuating anyone. I'm more like you know what it's like to be said on the internet by thousands of people can't sing, the sound is bad, just stop, just make a song," he said.

He reiterated his statement on stage, that no one can't sing

"I believe everyone can sing, no one can't sing, there's no bad sound, there's a sound," he said.

I also said years ago, but whatever is made from the heart will definitely arrive. So if for example someone is living now and feeling inferior because they are said to be playing bad music, the singing is bad, so don't think you can only do that, but change it if only you can.

Instead of being called a satire, the Indies called it a boost and support for people who do not fully believe in their own abilities.

"The name of art is objective, there is nothing wrong and right. I say that for people who feel small because of other people's digits, not to people who have spoken to me like that," he concluded.
