JAKARTA - The Indonesian Music Award Foundation (YAMI) is preparing to welcome the peak night of the 27th Indonesian Music Awards (AMI Awards) which will be held at Ciputra Artpreneur, South Jakarta on Wednesday, December 4.

This year's event carries the theme 'New Generation Music', which is intended as a party to celebrate the diversity of music and genres of new musicians in the current Indonesian music industry.

Candra Darusman as the Chair of YAMI invited all music people to jointly support and collaborate on the efforts made over the past year. With the increasing number of participants, he believes this event is still relevant, including for the new generation and future.

Yes, God willing, we are ready to convey messages from the Ministry of Education and Culture and AMI, if AMI is one or only award that musicians can be proud of," said Untung.

On the top night, 62 Categories and 5 Special Awards will be announced which will be divided into two sessions. The first session will be announced in 50 Categories during the day, then in the second session 12 Categories will be announced and 5 Special Awards with trophies given on stage.

In addition, a number of well-known Indonesian musicians also appeared to enliven the event. Those who will appear are Salma Salsabil, Bernadya, Sal Priadi, Sherina Munaf, Rony Parulian, Isyana Sarasvati, Rahmania Astrini, Adrian Khalif, to Selfi Yama.

"For the performance, we hope they can perform their best on stage," said Untung.

In addition, AMI is also collaborating with Frank & Co. To present special diamond-layered trophies. This trophy will be given to several special categories.
