JAKARTA - One of the RnB artists, Mac Ayres recently presented a new work in the form of a mixtape entitled "cloudy" which has been available on various music streaming platforms.

Set a total of fifteen tracks, cloudy tells of the times when Mac grew up in the small town of Sea Cliff, New York, United States, and its life in Boston first. Mac's new mixtape brought listeners on its journey of self-transforming through the most popular Mac-upload songs on SoundCloud, including she justknow me rn, LOVE, she won't stay long, and so on. Melodies-soft metallicity typical of Macs are heard throughout their new mixtape which nicely displays its musical evolution.

This project is a tribute to my foundation as a musician. These songs in mixtape are the first batch of songs I've ever written and produced. I'm not only learning my music, but myself as a human being. When I wrote these songs I was experiencing a lot of uncertainty in my life. I stopped going to school, I fell in love, I went through happy moments and sad moments. I hope everyone who hears this mixtape can hear the naiveness and love that I have for music in this project," said Mac Ayres in a written statement, November 8.

These songs are an important piece to me right now, even though 8 years have passed since I wrote and recorded these songs. I hope this mixtape can be a reminder that we never know where life will take us, without remembering where we came from. If you've been listening to my music for a long time, I'm very grateful. I'm very grateful for my life right now where I can share my works. A lot of other music will be made, but for now, I hope you can enjoy the nostalgic journey through this mixtape," he continued.

Mac talent in expressing love and loss is mysteriously very close to his voice which he controls like an instrument. Mac has now celebrated his past to move forward. The result is a familiar musical nuance as well as nostalgia which eventually shaped him into someone we know today.

Mac combines various experiences of his life through songs he wrote to create music that is passionate and relatable. This multi-instrumentalist has taken a long journey since "Easy", his hit song which was released in 2017 and has received RIAA gold certification. Mac continues to bring the spirit of DIY (do it yourself) typically to a wider audience.

Mac has performed in Indonesia three times to be precise at AM Festival 2018, Java Jazz Festival 2019, and at The Sound's Project 2023.
