Clown Slipknot Reveals The Terrible Injury He Has Experienced

JAKARTA -Crewn, a Slipknot percussion player, has revealed his worst injury during his career as a musician. Known for his scary appearance, the owner of the name Shawn Crahan has faced a tense situation.

In a recent interview with Vulture, he shared a terrible experience of tearing his bisep muscles into two while hitting a beer barrel with a stick. The injury was so severe that his bisep muscles seemed to be released, causing significant physical limitations and daily reminders about the incident.

I tore up the two hidup (bisps). So my bisep is actually on my lower arm. Like, the bisep just fell and fell with him," he said, quoted from NME, November 7.

The injury required surgery and resulted in a loss of 25% muscle mass in his arm. Clown now has difficulty carrying out simple tasks such as reaching goods on high shelves and experiencing constant pain and swelling. Despite his dire injury nature, he remains committed to his music and continues to perform with Slipknot.

This isn't the first time Clown has suffered a serious injury on stage. In 2021, he tore up his bicep tendons during the Knotfest show. In addition, he has previously expressed his discomfort with the amount of blood associated with his appearance, pointing to a shift in his perspective on stage injuries.

Clown's experience highlights the physical burden that extreme performances can put on musicians. His story serves as a reminder of the risks involved in such a demanding career and the long-term impact an injury can have on the lives of artists.
