Band Mayor Invites Listeners To Reflect On Yourself Through Single Bang Jago

JAKARTA - The pop-melay band Wali again invites listeners to reflect through a new single entitled 'Bang Jago'. This song written by Apoly (guitar) carries a strong moral message in the form of an invitation to always do good.

This single tells the story of a man who likes to hurt a woman, both physically and emotionally. He forgets that women, including their mothers, deserve respect and protection.

Wali ingin mengingatkan bahwa setiap tindakan buruk terhadap perempuan, sebenarnya sama saja dengan membunuh ibu sendiri. Lagu ini memberikan reflection agar setiap pasangan dapat menciptakan hubungan yang harmonari dan saling menghargai.

"A good man is the one who protects the women around him, either his younger brother, brother, or wife. If he hurts them, it is tantamount to hurting his mother," Apoy said in his statement, Friday, November 1.

Meanwhile, the arrangement Bang Jago is packaged with cheerful music but still has a typical pop-melayu nuance. Vocal Faank mixes with light music, making this song easy to listen to and enjoy.

This single is also present in a music video packaged in comedy, featuring Bang Jago, played by Cansiango.

With the background of a village around South Tangerang, Bang Jago lives with a wife played by Nadhae Ananda Putri.

In his simple home, Bang Jago always intimidates his wife. He felt he was a champion in the neighborhood, until he forgot that in his neighborhood there was another Bang Jago.

Wali personnel also participated in starring in the music video, with Apoy playing Bang Jago silat (Jawara), Faank as Bang Jago managing the community (Pak RT), Ovie as Bang Jago protecting the environment (Hansip), and Tomi as Bang Jago Big Boss (Brother Ipar Bang Jago).
