Slank Asks Fans To Pray For The Recovery Of Abdee Negara

JAKARTA - Slank guitarist Abdee Negara has been undergoing intensive care at the hospital for more than a month. His health condition declined due to autoimmune attacks on his kidneys.

Slank through his official social media account also invited Slankers (fans) to pray together that Abdee's condition would improve and get out of the hospital.

"Help me pray for Abdee's recovery, Slankers friends," wrote Slank, citing an Instagram post, Sunday, October 20.

Slank also appealed to the Slankers to pray for the guitarist's recovery from their respective places.

"Pray for prayers from all friends/friends, for the recovery of Abdee Negara who is currently being treated at the hospital," wrote Slank.

"Prayers together every day at 19.00 at our respective places," he continued.

Previously, Abdee's kidney, which was infected with autoimmune, was the result of a 2016 kidney transplant.

Abdee's brother, Buddy Ace, explained that the team of doctors had observed Abdee's kidney to determine the right treatment.

"Currently, autoimmune doctors and a team of doctors are observing their kidney tissue, to find the right medicine to protect the kidneys from autoimmune attacks," he said.

Buddy can't say for sure when Abdee can return home. He said the younger brother still had to undergo treatment.

"The attack made Abdee's condition decrease, so it needed intensive care at the hospital, while trying to fight the autoimmune," concluded Buddy Ace.
