Unjuk Eksistensi, Fatin Shidqia Menapa Pendengar Lewat Kita Sama-sama Tau

JAKARTA - Fatin Shidqia shows his existence as a solo singer. After releasing 'Don't get lost, Sayang' last year, Fatin was present again in 2024 with the song Kita Sama Tau which he wrote with Clara Riva.

"This is my first collaboration with Clara in writing songs and I am grateful that the process went smoothly. So, I got the chorus melody first, then Clara helped. We also wrote the lyrics together," explained Fatin in a written broadcast received by VOI.

Interestingly, Fatin got this song melody when he was going home for Lebaran this year and he didn't expect it to end up being a whole song that is ready to be played to all Indonesian music lovers.

We both know that we still have a theme about love, namely about people who know that there are seeds of love that grow between them, but for several reasons, finally prefer to wait for the right time to be together.

If asked to describe this song with one sentence, I will answer'relation without status'. So, both of them already know if they like each other, but cannot unite. Hopefully this song can represent the feelings of people who are or have experienced this situation. And, hopefully, patience waiting for you can produce the best results.

Fatin said that his new single offers something different from the previous songs, especially in terms of lyrics. He believes listeners will relate to the story he told in his song.

Here, I'm trying to write the lyrics of the song to the point so that whoever hears it will immediately capture the meaning and message I want to convey through We both know. To be honest, writing the lyrics is not really easy. This is actually a challenge for me who initially doubted in the beginning of writing. But, thanks to Clara's support and help, I was finally able to write the lyrics I wanted.
