Ariel And David Bayu Enliven Karaoke With The Iringan Orchestra Erwin Gutawa

Erwin Gutawa brought a new concept called Karaokestra, karaoke with an orchestra. This concept was brought for the first time at the third day of the 2024 Party which took place at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta on Sunday, September 22.

Erwin Gutawa Karaokestra performed famous songs in the karaoke room, such as How Deserved from Sheila On 7, Bimbang from Melly Goeslaw, This Love Kills Me from D'Masiv, to Be Careful on the Road from Tulus.

Thousands of spectators who packed the Partypora Stage were made karaoke with lyrics plastered on the big screen on the right and left sides of the stage.

To make Karaokestra even more memorable, Erwin Gutawa invited Ariel NOAH directly when he was about to perform the song I said Indah.

"It's not complete if we don't present the original singer. We welcome Ariel," said Erwin Gutawa, welcoming NOAH vocalist on stage.

Ariel's presence made thousands of karaoke people with a louder voice. They seemed to be enjoying the show so much.

After 'I Say Indah', Ariel invites the audience to sing harder, when Chrisye's 'My Love Story' is played.

"Mas (Erwin), it seems that we have to carry a song that can be sung back there," said Ariel.

"This song is like everyone can sing harder," he added.

Apart from Ariel, Erwin Gutawa Karaokestra also presented David Bayu, who also performed a song from the late Chrisye entitled As You Ask.

Not only that, David Bayu also performed Benci Untuk Mencinta, one of his best songs with Naif.

In addition to the songs above, Erwin Gutawa Karaokestra also performed other songs, such as The Mastermind from Jamrud, Not Ordinary Love from Afgan, Love Unfinished from Padi, and C.H.R.I.S.Y.E from Diskoria, Laleilmanino, Eva Celia.

Apart from Erwin Gutawa Karaokestra, the main stage of the third day of the Pestopora Stage also featured Rizky Febian, Juicy Luicy, King Nassar, Dewa 19 ft. Ello, and NDX AKA.

Previously, the Pestora Stage also featured Maliq D'Escentials, Tulus, Ari Lasso, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Hindia, Slank, GAC, Maudy Ayunda, Chocolate, Bunga Citra Lestari, JKT48, and Type-X.

Another stage on the third day of the 2024 Pestopora also featured Afgan, Ebiet G Ade, Ali, Young Lex, Dhyo Haw, The Sigit, Sal Priadi, Superman Is Dead, Bilal Indrajaya, Judika, Ungu, Project Pop, HIVI!, 47he, VIDI, and many more.
