NDX AKA And DJ Nofin Asia Present A Cross Of Rap And Koplo Remix On JOOX

JAKARTA - Along with the increasing consumption of dangdut music on JOOX, this social entertainment platform in collaboration with NDX AKA and DJ Nofin Asia presents new creations on two of the latest JOOX Original dangdut songs.

The latest JOOX Original dangdut song entitled Apa Kabar Former was delivered by NDX AKA with Javanese lyrics and sung in rap. Meanwhile, DJ Nofin Asia rearranged the best-selling dangdut song JOOX Original Gede Ndase.

Quoted from Antara, Monday, March 29, JOOX considered that the two creations were presented considering that currently dangdut music is able to break down boundaries in society. This development also motivated the emergence of many new dangdut singers who dared to present new creations.

Not only are the provinces of West Java and East Java which are famous for being the hometown of dangdut singers, Jogja also has many creative dangdut musicians, one of which is NDX AKA.

The new color brought by NDX AKA made dangdut songs able to touch young people who had never previously liked the dangdut genre.

In collaboration with JOOX and Milana Musik Nusantara, NDX AKA created a song that tells about the experiences of its members. The song with a sad character turned softer when they added the rap dangdut arrangement that became their trademark.

With fully Javanese lyrics, the song Apa Kabar Former can still be enjoyed because it uses the Javanese language which is common and easily understood by many people.

Meanwhile, DJ Nofin Asia is processing a remix dangdut music arrangement through his latest work entitled Gede Ndase.

The JOOX Original dangdut song, which was originally sung by Syahiba Saufa, was released on February 5, 2021 and dominated the dangdut charts on JOOX for four weeks since its release and is still on the top of the JOOX dangdut chart to date.

The idea of DJ Nofin Asia's arrangement was able to make Gede Ndase change without losing the meaning of the song.

"Even though the song Gede Ndase is really sad, I want the sound of this song to sound happy and the melody is catchy," said DJ Nofin Asia.

The JOOX Original song is the result of JOOX's collaboration with various inspiring musicians and music labels to continue to present music content that suits user needs, and can accompany their conscience anytime and anywhere.

JOOX Indonesia's Head of Marketing, Yuanita Agata, said that JOOX users' interest in dangdut music can be seen from JOOX's internal data which shows that the number of dangdut song consumption has increased by more than 2.5 times compared to last year.

"The recent use of dangdut music as a background for social media content has also encouraged us to present unique JOOX Original dangdut songs, such as those performed by NDX AKA and DJ Nofin Asia," said Yuanita Agata.

Yuanita continued that to continue to present music content that is fresh and in accordance with the user's heart, JOOX will then bring new creativity, namely some JOOX Original dangdut koplo remixes.
