JAKARTA - The Virgin made a promise that was declared when it launched the single Unforbidden Love 2 earlier this year. Mita and Dara are back by introducing a new album with the title Full Circle.

Of the eight songs presented, 'Bimbi' was chosen to be a focus track. This song has become very special because it has been performed by the living legend of Indonesian music, Titiek Puspa.

Bimbi tells the story of a woman from overseas who forgets land when she gets to know life in a big city. This makes him lost his way and lost his way.

The selection of the 'Bimbi' as focus track has gone through a long discussion between personnel and Wawan TMG as music directors. Through this song, The Virgin tries to change from the previous music.

"Yes, at first it was because of a discussion with our Music Director, Mas Wawan TMG. After trying it out with Dara's voice, it turned out to be very suitable, and this idea also came because the two albums The Virgin always have an old hit single recycle song," said Mita in her statement, Friday, August 30.

The guitarist also gave an example where The Virgin also performed Vina Panduwinata's song Love' on the album Yes I Am (2011), as well as the song Cinta Gila and Song Cinta from Dewa 19 on the album Positive Negative (2014).

'Full Circle' is becoming more special as it is Virgin's first album in ten years.

The 'Full Circle' symbolizes the cycle of life, such as the phase of the moon and the annual orbit around the sun. The album celebrates the 15-year journey of The Virgin, highlighting their growth in evolution and presence in the music industry.

In addition to 'Bimbi', this album also contains 'Unforbidden Love 2' which was introduced earlier. Then, there is also the song 'Until Later', 'It's Jodohku', 'Don't Want To Replace It', 'Not Setia', 'Baby Yes I Can', and 'Best'.

"Hopefully the song Bimbi as a focus track on the Full Circle album can hit again like it used to be among today's young people," concluded Dara.
