JAKARTA - Composer and music director Nina Sari Ishak released her first album entitled Music for Sleeping: Lelap which is packaged in the form of a lullaby speaker lamp. This album was released to coincide with World Sleep Day on March 18 yesterday.

"The concept is made with the title song first because from the title song I can manifest", said Nina who is also the CEO and Founder of Stretta Music Production, in a statement released from Antara, Thursday, March 25.

Nina completed Lelap in 2.5 years because it took time for medical research through consultation with specialist doctors as well as a music production process with a unique packaging form.

"All the process of making this album originated from the inspiration that arises about the concept of sleep. Many people we meet have trouble sleeping due to psychological factors and this can trigger stress", said the graduate of music piano performance from Ouachita Baptist University, United States.

Lelap album consists of 10 piano instrumental titles with poetry on each track.

The title of the song used deliberately uses Indonesian because it has the aspiration to bring Indonesian music to the international world.

"So that Indonesian music is not only known as gamelan, keroncong, or dangdut", said Nina.

The ten songs include Nina Bobo, Istirahat, Tenang, Teduh, Pejam, Tenteram, Sayup, Pulas, Bunga Tidur, and ends with the title song taken in accordance with the name of the album Lelap.
