Taylor Swift Concert Canceled Due To Terror Threat, Swifties Condemns Terrorism

JAKARTA - The Taylor Swift concert in Vienna, Austria had to be canceled due to an emergency situation. Reportedly, there was a threat of a terrorist attack on The Eras Tour there.

Prioritizing security, Swifties, who was waiting for the idol's concert, had to face disappointment. They also condemned the terror that was the reason for the cancellation of the concert.

The local government immediately intervened to handle the case. According to People, two people have been arrested by the authorities, who allegedly planned a terror attack at Taylor's concert.

Barracuda Music as the concert promoter announced that this cancellation was a response that had to be done.

"After confirmation from government officials regarding the planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for the safety of everyone," explained the promoter representative.

Next, they promised to refund fan tickets automatically within 10 days. The promoter asks for the understanding that Swifties should be disappointed because of this cancellation.

They expressed anger at those who spread fear through terror. Even so, they are mature enough to accept the cancellation of concerts for safety.

"I am grateful that Taylor and her fans are in a safe condition, this incident is very disgusting. Fortunately, terrorists were arrested before carrying out the action," said one Swiftie on Twitter. "Surely Taylor is very sad, as well as fans who have bought tickets for this cancellation," said another.

Earlier, the Taylor Swift The Eras Tour Austria concert was scheduled to be held Thursday to Saturday, August 8-10 local time. Ernst Happel Stadium was chosen as the venue for the pop superstar's concert.
