Officially, Tremor Releases Logic Evolution EP In Boxset Form

JAKARTA - Tremor thrash metal troop proclaimed the birth of their latest mini album (EP), Evolution Logika on March 16 yesterday at Holywings Tavern, Kemang, South Jakarta. At the same time, they also released a music video for their hit single, Dunia.

EP Evolusi Logika is a follow-up to EP Awal Awakening (2016) and the full album Penguler (2018). The digital version was released earlier on March 12 via MusicBlast.

According to Iik (vocals, guitar), Rino (guitar), Dikdik (bass) and Fikhal (drums), the Logic Evolution EP tells about the mindset, way, style and purpose of human life.

"The message to be conveyed is not to make the wrong choice of life goals, because everything has consequences," said Iik in a written statement received by VOI.

The band, which was formed since 2007, is very neat in concocting four songs that reside in Evolution Logika. Respond to events around us that have happened recently and absorb what they have experienced to make the lyrics honest and clear.

The seriousness of working on this album was also proven by collaborating with three influential musicians in the Indonesian music industry. They are Eet Sjahranie (Edane), Pay Burman (BIP, General Maya) and Trison (Roxx).

“The difficulty in working on an album during this pandemic is on the production side, because it's hard to find one. That's why Bang Pay was recorded from Bali, ”recalls Rino telling of the production process.

By inviting three musicians of different genres in this album, it is clear that Iik et al want thrash metal music to resonate even more without knowing boundaries.

Meanwhile, for now, the physical version of Evolution Logic EP is only available in a skin-coated boxset format. The contents include the Evolution Logic EP CD, Logic Evolution EP otg flashdisc, t-shirts, matches (zippo), bandanas, emblems, cloth masks, and guitar picks + bass from Tremor personnel.
