New Era Begins, Feast Launches Consequences As Album Opener Builds & Destroys

JAKARTA - The rock quartet from Jakarta Feast introduced a new single entitled 'Consequences' as a marker of the new era.

This song is material from the upcoming album that has long been promised, 'Building & Destroying'.

The band, which consists of Baskara Putra (vocals), Adnan Satyanugraha Putra (guitar), Dicky Renanda (guitar) and Fadli Fikriawan (bass), decided to introduce the 'Consequences' first as an illustration for the new album.

This song is considered quite aggressive and full of distortion, thus representing the main theme raised on the album.

The 'consequent' tells the story of what happened today, which is a consequence of what has been done before. This song also brings a message that applies to anyone, especially for the.Feast, which has had a positive and negative impact as a result of their actions on their journey as a band since 2012.

In working on a new album, Pandu Fathoni was appointed as producer. The Morfem guitarist is considered to understand that sonik's character is full of distortions that are suitable for this song.

Apart from Pandu, the recording process also involved Dias Widjajanto as a drummer, who has also accompanied.Feast on stage since mid-2023.

The release of the 'Consequent' also marks the keeping of a.Feast promise to complete and release Building & Destroying', an album that has been announced since 2019 but has been hampered in its completion.

In the period 2019-2023,.Feast actually recorded and released two other sets of songs, namely Face Money and Abdi Lara Insani who won the AMI Awards for the Best Rock Album category in 2022. They also collaborated with Koil and exchanged songs in the split single Fantasi World Destroyer Dance, then recorded No Wifi in Alam Baka with the legendary band from Bandung.
