JAKARTA - The emogaze unit from Bali, the Milledenials launched alternative versions of "Precious Me" and Youth Life, two songs from the mini album The Prak of Youth Life which was released last year.

The quartet filled with Nadya Narita (vocals), Made Krisna (guitar), Billy Sukmono (bass), and Bagus Aditya (guitar) revealed that the idea of launching an alternative version of the two songs stemmed from the desire to explore further the songs that had already been released.

"We were quite bored with the previous version which made us curious about the electronic and acoustic versions of these two songs," Milledenials personnel said in a written statement, Monday, April 22.

"It all started with the fun of jamming when creating new materials, where Made accidentally gave the glitch and electronic effects in the song 'Precious Me', so we decided to release an electronic version of this song," he continued.

"Meanwhile, for the song Youth LiFe, we try to package it with something simpler and want to provide a more intimate experience. Two anomalies, namely energetic and intimate, we present it in this song."

The two songs were chosen to be presented in the new version because they were considered to represent Milledenials anxiety on the mini album "The Peak of Youth Life".

"Apart from being the two songs that are listened to the most, both of them also tell the peak of their youth who want to keep breaking through new things. Here we take the alternative version of the music," said Milledenials.

"At first we were a bit difficult to accept or get used to, but over time, the results sounded very fun."

Apart from being recasted by the Milledenials, the song 'Precious Me' was also remixed by Gozal, a rapper from Bali. The millennials feel that Gozal is one of the first and closest people to them who simply follow the development of the music of the Millennials.

"In addition, we think Gozal is also musically in line with our vision of realizing this 'Precious Me' project. Our ideas and all our thoughts can be executed very well by Gozal," concluded the Milledenials.
