Taylor Swift Is On The World Billionaire List Thanks To Eras Tour's Success

JAKARTA - Taylor Swift was declared a billionaire according to a recent Forbes report. This is based on the ongoing success of the Eras Tour, its catalog of songs, and its real estate portfolio.

Forbes on Tuesday, April 2 stated that Taylor Swift's total wealth ranged from $1.1 billion or Rp17.5 trillion.

Forbes publication reports that Swift is the only musician on the list based solely on music and live performances.

Even Eras Tour is said to have surpassed $1 billion or IDR 15.9 trillion since its launch in March 2023.

Swift also earned a large income through the Eras Tour concert film which became the best-selling concert film of all time, with more than $261 million or IDR 4.1 trillion at the box office since its premiere on October 11, 2023.

The income from the 34-year-old singer and songwriter will continue to increase with the release of his eleventh original studio album, The Torturing Poets Department, on April 19.

For information, Taylor Swift along with 13 other celebrities are included in Forbes Billionaire List (Daftar Billionaire Forbes). In total, celebrities are estimated to have a fortune of $30 billion or Rp477.9 trillion.
