The Lantis Presents Various Colors On The Pancarona Album

JAKARTA - The Lantis, a band from Jakarta that carries the retro concept, is back with a new album titled Pancarona. This is the second album after Pilot (2021).

The band, which consists of Giri Virandi (bass & vocals), Ravi Rinaldy (guitar & vocals), Rifki Dzaky Fauzan (guitar) and Risyad Fabrian (drums), presented 12 songs on the new album.

Pancarona itself is interpreted by the personnel as something with various colors. Everything is presented in this album.

"There must be a moment of optimism and pessimism of negative and positive events. Everything that happens, varies in taste, that's what Pancarona means," Ravi said during a press conference at the Warner Music Indonesia Office in Gambir, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 15.

Overall there are nine new songs in Pancarona. Meanwhile, three other songs have been released previously, namely the Hemisphere, Gloria, and Nirvana.

Meanwhile, the song titled Halo Jakarta, written by Giri and Ravi, became the mainstay song on the Pancarona album.

This is a song that was created during the lockdown. We miss Jakarta but we can't go anywhere. From the feeling of longing for Jakarta, which we know with traffic jams, so many people, the song Halo Jakarta was made," said Giri.

Overall, the album production process takes more than a year. Different from the simple production of Pilots, The Lantis wanted the second album to show their improvement in quality as a band.

"Our first album is still on a cellphone. This is also a challenge for us from the second album recording process because we want to improve the quality of our recordings compared to the first album, so there are many standards that must be met as well," said Giri.

With the release of Pancarona, The Lantis also marked their new journey under Warner Music Indonesia.

"Hopefully with the release of this second album, we can give a new color in the Indonesian music scene and of course hopefully the fans of The Lantis will like it. We also want this album to be more successful than the previous album and make us more successful," said Risyad.
