JAKARTA - Mytha Lestari managed to fulfill one of her dreams as a singer. Ten years after his debut, the 32-year-old singer finally had the opportunity to perform a song by Melly Goeslaw.

Meanwhile, Mytha Lestari has just released a song called Inappropriate, which is the original soundtrack (OST) for the film Ipar is Death.

"This is a dream come true for me," said Mytha during a press conference in Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Friday, March 15.

"Produced by Mas Anto (Hoed) and composed by the song with The Melly, it's really like praying," he continued.

Although the whole process went smoothly, Mytha admitted that she had to work extra to give her best in this song.

Mytha began to find out what was told in Ipar is Death. He felt he had to know what Melly Goeslaw meant when writing songs.

"I deepen the character quite long and long. So, I really opened the TikTok again, then I chatted with my husband who wanted to watch it too, then I bought the book too," said Mytha Lestari.

"I really want to know who I am standing in. Because when I heard the song, I was confused who Teh Melly was standing in? That's something I also wanted to ask Teh Melly at that time. And thank God I got the second chance for the recording, "he concluded.
