LMKN Meeting With WAMI, Discussing Collection Efficiency And Royalty Distribution

LMKN had a meeting with WAMI (Instagram @wami.id)

JAKARTA - The National Collective Management Institute (LMKN) held a meeting with Wahana Musik Indonesia (WAMI) as one of the largest Collective Management Institutions (LMK) operating in Indonesia.

The meeting was revealed by WAMI through an official Instagram account upload. Adi Adrian and Meidi Ferialdi representing WAMI met with the Chairperson and Commissioner of LMKN.

"An important step for the continuity of the music industry," WAMI wrote in a description of Instagram's upload, Tuesday, February 13.

Last Tuesday (6/2), WAMI attended a meeting with LMKN represented by Adi Adrian (Chairman of the WAMI Management Agency) and Meidi Ferialdi (Chief of Copyright and Licensing Officer OF WAMI).

WAMI explained that the meeting was held to increase the work of collecting royalties from users and distribute them to members.

This intense discussion is carried out to unify steps to increase the efficiency of collections and royalty distribution for members, and is expected to bring stronger synergies in optimizing the performance of the music industry and protecting creative work rights.

Through the meeting held, WAMI hopes that there will be a positive impetus for Indonesia's music ecosystem in the future.
