Concert Holds 25 Years Of Work, Badai Appears Different As Soloist

JAKARTA - Doadibadai Hollo alias Hurricane ex Kerispatih celebrated 25 years of work with a successful concert held at the Jakarta Arts Building on Thursday, January 25 evening.

Badai membawa lagu-lagu yang ia pernah tulis sendiri, baik itu lagu yang pernah menjadi hits untuk Kerispatih maupun lagu-lagu yang dibawakan oleh penyanyi lain.

As a soloist, Badai shows a different image from the previous one better known as a pianist and keyboardist. He appeared as a frontman and became the center of attention on stage.

Storm as a solo singer is very rarely seen playing keyboards. He prefers to sing while playing electric and acoustic guitars.

"I am very lucky, God gave me a lot of ability. I can sing a little, play guitar a little," said Badai before holding a 25-year storm concert, Tak Lekang by Time.

Along with the concert, Badai also released a new single entitled Can't Believe it. Through this song, he wants to be better known as a solo singer.

Through the release of a new single, Badai did not have a big target, he only hoped that Indonesian music lovers would know him better as a solo singer. The 46-year-old musician actually asked that he be seen as a baby who had just entered the music industry.

"Yes, at least we just get to know you first, you listen to my songs, you listen to my voice, you can start loving the songs I sing, starting to at least appreciate my efforts, my talents that I started developing through this solo single," said Badai.

"About hoping to be accepted, liked, I don't want to force it, because it's a clich. Yes, at least you know it first, you don't have to love it first," he said.
