JAKARTA - After a year and a half since debut, NewJeans finally appeared for the first time in Indonesia through the 2024 Golden Disc Awards at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on Saturday, January 6.
In front of tens of thousands of Indonesian K-pop music lovers, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein appeared like angels with white wing ornaments attached to their backs.
NewJeans' performance began with the screening of Get Up footage, a 36-second song that amazed R&B music lovers by the busy part of the song one with modern sound, sweet chord progression, and fresh sound.
After showing their ability to dance with dozens of background dancers on stage, NewJeans then brought Cool With You, one of their mainstays from EP Get Up.
Then, NewJeans performed Ditto, a phenomenal song which was later named the best song throughout 2023.
