Sambun Rasa: Full Album Offering Dhyo Haw In Early 2024

JAKARTA - Dhyo Haw has released a full album titled Sambung Rasa again. Released right at the turn of the year, this seventh album is a special offering for Indonesian music lovers in early 2024.

Sambun Rasa has actually finished working on it in 2023, even Dhyo Haw had released a single titled Malang as a marker, and also performed several new songs on his tour last year.

"Actually, the album has been completed from 2023, but I'm looking for the right moment to release. And it turns out that the right moment is when the new year, when people are looking for new releases," said Dhyo Haw when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, January 3.

Dhyo tried to summarize many things on his new album. Similar to previous albums, the singer who grew up in Tangerang summarized many events that have been experienced throughout the year. The events experienced, self-reflection, his views on something, his encounters with other people, were all summarized in eleven new songs on the album Connect Rasa.

In the song Bias Asa, Dhyo captures the birth of his second child. But at the same time, unpleasant incidents were also experienced by close people.

"When I produced the album again, my second child was born, his name was Bias Asa. This song is dynamic, because there is happiness and sadness, there I combine it into one," he said.

Meanwhile, in the song Hanya Artist, Dhyo tries to reflect on himself as a singer who meets many people. He admitted that Bamgga had his life as a singer and songwriter.

Meanwhile, Enough Past became a mainstay on the album Connect Rasa. Compared to other songs, this song feels more pop with simple arrangements even though it becomes complex if studied further.

"The past is enough about how a person can continue to welcome the next day, without him having to look back at the past," said Dhyo.

Connect Rasa was chosen to be the album title instead of without reason, Dhyo wants his album this time to be dedicated to everyone who surrounds him, from family, relatives, friends, team, to music listeners.

"It turns out that all this time I have just realized that every time I perform, I always meet my brothers and sisters. For example, I perform in Jayapura, there are my friends there who are like you to me. Likewise, when I went to Palembang, I would have welcomed me there, people who were like brothers to me," said Dhyo Haw.

"I think this is more than music. Finally, I thought about it like flavoring or friendship. I hope that this friendship will continue until our descendants. If my child plays for Palembang, he can still meet them. I want to hit contiguously," he added.
