Finally Stephanie Poetri Collaborates With Titi DJ On The Song A Little Bit Of Light

JAKARTA - Since debuting as a singer in 2019, Stephanie Poetri has dueted several times with her mother, Titi DJ on stage, but that opportunity never happened in the recording studio.

Finally, after four years, the duo Stephanie and her mother at the recording studio materialized. They have just released a new song called A Little Bit of Light.

"I'm finally happy to finally be able to work together @stephaniepoetri and @andirianto.official in the song A Little Bit of Light," wrote Titi DJ in an Instagram upload, seen Wednesday, December 28.

Furthermore, this song becomes more meaningful because it is worked on with Stephanie and Titi.

"Stephanie specifically made this song to sing a duet with me, aaah toucheduu. The original song lyrics in English are very beautiful. Then Stephanie asked some of the lyrics to be changed into Indonesian. Then I made the lyrics but the chorus remains in English," said Titi DJ.

"Because that's where I was inspired to make lyrics in other parts of the song. So I didn't just translate English lyrics into Indonesia, because it would be difficult and very stiff if that was the case. After becoming the lyrics, Stephanie agreed," he continued.

Meanwhile, vocal recordings were carried out separately, Stephanie Poetri did it in Los Angeles, United States and Titi DJ did it in Jakarta.

Stephanie and Titi DJ were assisted by composer Andi Rianto who acted as producers. Meanwhile, Barsena acts as a vocal director.
