This single is special because it will signal the start of a series of singles which will later become the material in the second album which is planned to be released in 2024.

Badminton Else is not a new song for Tokyolite. Present for the first time through session hours in 2017, this song had experienced several arrangement reshuffles.

"When I produced this song, I was very inspired by Last Dinosaurs, The Band Apartment and Phoenix. I think it will be seen in the details of the soundscape," said Alexander Bramono in his statement, Monday, December 18.

Meanwhile, the recording process is carried out independently in Bogor and Jakarta. Most of the processes are carried out at home, except when recording vocals and drums.

"In the process of producing this song, I was given a lot of freedom by other personnel in the exploration of sound and keyboard arrangements," said Ben Maspanger.

"Incidentally, when I heard this song, I immediately thought that Minuru Mukaiya's filling in the song Casappea for the Mint Jams album. There were a few cave arrangements in this song that were influenced by him," he continued.

Meanwhile, Tokyolite was assisted by Shaku Hachi to fill the drums. While the mixing and mastering process, they were assisted by Reyner Ferdinand.

In lyric, current Else takes a very personal approach, a point of view from someone who is fed up with expectations and expectations from others against him.

In the process of working on the lyrics, most were initiated by Alexander Bramono who collaborated with Stevan Arianto.
