Hammersonic Postponed To January 2021

JAKARTA - The outbreak of COVID-19 or the corona virus which has attacked a number of countries, has again changed the schedule of concerts in Indonesia. After Head in the Clouds, Hammersonic was also rescheduled.

The cancellation was informed by Ravel Entertainment via Instagram @hammersonicfest.

"Regarding the development of the current situation regarding the global COVID-19 outbreak and after coordinating with various parties, ranging from artists, government and all related agencies, we as Hammersonic organizers officially stated that the Hammersonic event was rescheduled to January 15-17, 2021. "

Although rescheduled, Hammersonic confirmed that it will add three headliners and two co-headliners which will be announced in the near future.

Since it was announced in mid-2019, the Hammersonic festival has been eagerly awaited by rock lovers. Naturally, because this performance was absent last year. Previously planned, Hammersonic returned with a fantastic line-up and was held on 27-28 March.

Hammersonic has announced a complete line-up that also answers fans' curiosity. The names mentioned are Slipknot, Black Flag, Lacuna Coil, Sinister, Comeback Kid, Suicide Silence, Vulvodynia, Polaris, Crossfaith, Stillbirth, Uncured, and Testament.

There are also Trivium, Burgerkill, Killing Me Inside Reunion, Overthrown, Restraint, Solemn, Deadsquad, Defying Decay, Venom Prison, Underside, Dark Mirror of Tragedy, Marduk, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk !, Rocket Rockers, and Amon Amarth.

However, the increasingly massive corona virus outbreak made two performers of Lacuna Coil (Italy) and Vulvodynia (South Africa) cancel their performances at Hammersonic. This is because there are regulations from the country of the band concerned and the management of their respective artists which do not allow them to travel abroad. Soon, Slipknot canceled a number of their appearances in Asia.
