Supergroup Rock 80 Holds Concert At Hard Rock Cafe

JAKARTA - A project band consisting of top Indonesian musicians with high flying hours and high skills, Rock 80, will hold a concert. at Hard Rock Café Jakarta on 18 March.

Rock 80 was formed in early November 2019, initiated by the guitarist of the rock / rif band, Jikun. After discussing the idea with Rizky (manager), the two of them invited Anwar Fatahillah (Powerslaves bassist), Ovy (guitarist / rif), Heydi Ibrahim (vocalist of Powerslaves), Gatz (former Purple keyboardist), and Anton (drummer Juliet) to complete the supergroup formation. this.

Unlike the previous supergroup, Rockstarr Conspiracy, Rock 80 is a musician collaboration that presents a repertoire of international rock hits in the '80s. Just say it; Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Guns N 'Roses, and many others.

"We collaborated to appreciate '80s glam rock music in entertaining fans of that musical era," said Jikun.

Rock 80 deliberately doesn't bring songs from the main band which is occupied by each of its personnel. Besides these bands are still active both in creating and performing on stage, they also need refreshing by bringing songs from their idols.

So far, Rock 80 has held three gigs in Central Java. Precisely in Semarang, Purworejo and Purwokerto. In those cities, Rock 80 has collaborated with a number of guest musicians, including the Shakuntala Project Feat. Mplay Utopia and Rea Maronta.
