JAKARTA - Band from Jakarta, Tiket released a new song titled Senjana today, Friday, November 24.

After a long hiatus and active again in 2022, Senjana is the first really new song for Tickets.

Previously, Tiket was more focused on re-releaseping their most popular old works

Senjana became a sign for Aqi Singgih (vocals), Arden Wiebowo (guitar), Opet Alatas (bass) and Brian Kresna Putro (drums), after deciding to walk together again.

Through their new song, Tiket also wants to show a new musical color. Aqi Singgih cs wants to look away for a moment from the musical colors that have been synonymous with them, as well as producing a quieter musical accompaniment, complete with the filling of Dimawan Krisnowo Adji.

"The work of this song, be it a notation or arrangement, is something that feels like the ticket has never been done before. This is also a challenge for Tickets, which are different from before," said Opet Alatas in his statement, Friday, November 24.

Another very striking difference is the absence of acoustic drums. Tickets choose to fill the percussion part of the computer program.

Brian Kresna Putro assessed that the song Senjana reflects the character or color of each Ticket personnel in 2023, or almost 20 years after never making music together. He sees the personnel as more mature in musicality.

Aqi Singgih hopes that the novelty in Tiket's music will become a new spirit for them to continue producing new works.

"Hopefully Senjana can be a fresh start for Tiket to be able to enliven Indonesian music again. Give us new enlightenment and enthusiasm, new hope, and a new taste in music. That's all first," concluded Aqi Singgih.
