JAKARTA - Known as a musician and songwriter in the Indonesian music scene, Badai is now also busy with his activities as a politician in one of the parties and a new challenge for him.

"When asked about my busyness in politics now, no, it doesn't matter. I'm used to something I do a lot," said Badai when met at a press conference 'Consert 25 Years of Non-Legal Storm By Time' in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta some time ago, quoted by Antara.

He added, "So, I think I'm going to do something that is my passion," he said.

According to him, careers in politics as politicians are passions that must be strengthened by ideas and innovations to bring better change to Indonesia. He also already has a grand design if he is elected as the people's representative later.

"Not because I am aji while, but I have a grand design in my vision and mission to create the Indonesian music world," said the man whose full name is Doadibadai Hollo.

As a musician, Badai admits that he has a big task to advance Indonesian artists and musicians in the future. Therefore, he wants to contribute more to Indonesia's better changes in the upcoming 2024 General Election.

Even though he is now busy with his political career, Badai doesn't want to leave music. He will also balance the two so that they can still be done together.

"I will never leave music because as Randy said earlier, music has become my destiny," said Badai.

Most recently, Badai will hold a concert celebrating his 25-year career in the music field entitled 'Not Slow by Time' at the Great Theater of Taman Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta on January 19, 2023, as well as releasing his newest solo single on the same day.

Interestingly, Hurricane's 25th anniversary celebration concert with the Nagaswara music label will present a different performance from previous concerts. At this concert, Badai will collaborate with a number of singers, including dangdut musician Duo Anggrek and cultural collaboration from Indonesian dancers and traditional music.

"I didn't think I could have a career of up to 25 years. This concert will involve 18-20 hit songs that I once created in the Indonesian music industry," said Badai.
