Richie Sambora Says 'It's Time' To Reunite With Bon Jovi

JAKARTA - Ahead of Bon Jovi's 40th birthday, founding member Richie Sambora said it was time to have a reunion.

The guitarist reflected his time in the iconic rock band Jersey in a new interview with People and shared details about the upcoming project about the band, as well as his hopes of taking part in the reunion.

"There's a documentary that's being made about the band and the things I'm following, and people want to come to see us play. This will make everyone happy," he told the outlet on the weekend.

I mean, basically, that's the reason you're doing it right now.

He continued, reflecting on the possibility of a massive reunion with Jon Bon Jovi and his colleagues.

"Yes, that can definitely happen... It's just a question of when everyone is ready to do it. This will be a huge effort."

Regarding when the event will be held, Sambora emphasized that he was "not sure", because of everyone's schedule and his own opinion on the prospect.

"It's up to the community, it has to be precise. That's all," he said.

"But it's time to do it. It's our 40th anniversary, but I feel younger than before. I had fun."
