JAKARTA - Weird Genius music group announced that one of its personnel, Gerald Liu will be leaving the group in the near future.
The announcement was uploaded via Weird Genius's official Instagram account.
After negotiating with the team, Gerald Liu decided to have his solo career as a musician.
"After going through careful consideration, Gerald decided to focus on his solo project," wrote Weird Genius in his statement, seen Tuesday, October 10.
"And starting from October 21, 2023, (Gerald Liu) is no longer part of Weird Genius. This decision has been mutually agreed upon," he continued.
Meanwhile, the final stage with Gerald Liu with Weird Genius will take place in Bandung, at the Playlist Festival.
